The Destin Seafood Festival is seeking artwork to represent the rich history of our beloved city as the official artwork of the 47th Annual Destin Seafood Festival in September 2025.

The winning art will embody the culture of fishing, beach life, and tourism that has been the soul of our beautiful beachside community for generations.

This year we will have TWO categories artists can enter their work in:
Child (ages 7-13) & Adult (ages 14+)
$300 CASH PRIZE to the winner of each category!

Each artwork submission must be accompanied by a completed registration form.

Submission Dates: February 1, 2025 to February 28, 2025
Voting Dates: March 1, 2025 to March 28, 2025
Artist Reveal Party: March 29, 2025

Designs will be submitted and listed online for public voting.

Voting period opens March 1st, 2025 for $5 per vote. All proceeds from the voting will be given back to local art programs through groups and non-profits like the Cultural Arts Alliance, Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, Destin School of the Arts and more.

First name and last initial will be used while voting. All other contact info will remain private and used for internal communication for our winners only. For the Child’s category, please use students name and parents contact information.

The Artist Reveal Party is our way of honoring our artists. All the submitted artwork will be displayed at the Harbor in Bloom Market at Harborwalk Village on Saturday March 29th. The Top 3 Designs in each category will be revealed and all attendees will have a chance to cast their remaining votes while we tally the winner. The winning artwork in each category will be announced in person at this event, and all artists and their families are encouraged to attend.

Furthermore, I understand that if my artwork is selected, I am releasing all rights to the DSF to reproduce the chosen artwork on T-shirts, posters, festival collateral and any other related items or advertising.

I, the undersigned, understand that if my submitted design and original artwork is selected, then I will fulfill all obligations for the Destin Seafood Festival Committee listed below: Art must display “47th Annual Destin Seafood Festival” and the year (2025). **It is recommended that the name “47th Annual Destin Seafood Festival” and the year be added separately (added after selection) so art can still be used if not selected. We will assist with this but please understand that this will be added to your submission if selected. As the winner, I understand that my original artwork will become the property of the Destin Seafood Festival otherwise known as DSF. Furthermore, I understand that if my artwork is selected, I am releasing all rights to the DSF to reproduce the chosen artwork on T-shirts, posters, festival collateral and any other related items or advertising. Both winners of the 2025 Destin Seafood Festival artwork contest will be awarded a $300 cash prize and will be given the option of a complimentary booth to display other personal artwork separate from any Destin Seafood Festival artwork, past or present. The winning artist will also be featured on the DSF website and social media including their personal website and social media. The DSF will obtain ALL proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts, posters, festival collateral and any other related items pertaining to the festival and the selected artwork. All expenses associated with the production of the t-shirts will be incurred by the festival. The winning artist will be asked to submit a written bio and photograph for promotion. I, the undersigned, understand that if my submitted design and original artwork is not selected, then my artwork may not be reproduced for the sale or otherwise with words that may cause one to believe that the artwork represents the official Destin Seafood Festival brand. Artwork that is in violation includes, but is not limited to, artwork that references the following words in any combined order: Destin, Seafood, Festival, official, art, poster, or current year. Any artwork displaying these words cannot be displayed and/or sold without request/review/consent by the Destin Seafood Festival committee approval. I fully understand and acknowledge that the Destin Seafood Festival is vested with sole authority and discretion to determine whether a violation of this agreement has occurred. I hereby waive any and all rights to damages arising out of or in any way related to the prohibition of the sale of any artwork or the termination of my participation in the Destin Seafood Festival pursuant to this agreement. I give the Destin Seafood Festival unconditional use of my artwork, if it is selected as the official design for the 47th Annual Destin Seafood Festival t-shirts. The Destin Seafood Festival Committee, as official promoters and organizers of the Destin Seafood Festival, retain the sole propriety over all aspects of the festival, which include official poster, official t-shirt, and vendor selections.
